I think I'm seeing an occurence of this on a client's system, but cannot solve it. If a user is using the Outlook CRM client, *offline*, and tries to convert an Opportunity to a Quote, they see a non-descript error.
Logfiles show the error to include: " Exception message: transactionCurrencyId needs to be supplied to format a transaction money field. "
Trying to apply the solution you described, CRM won't let me delete the transactioncurrencyid (from Opportunity or Quote). When I try, I am shown the error:
"One or more of the attribute maps could not be deleted because they are being used by the Microsoft Dynamics CRM Platform".
Are you familiar with the error I'm encountering, and do you have any idea what I can do to fix it?
Thanks,
Steve
