Search Contains More than 100 Results when Creating Advanced Find View

A client asked to create a view for all contacts whose parent account has a specific name (ABC, Inc. for example). On the surface, this seems like a simple request, right? But what if there are more than 100 accounts with the same name?

In dealing with a large mutual fund management company, accounts are organized in a Firm/Office manner, taking advantage of the Parent Account/Sub Account functionality.

So, for example, a firm may be "Jason's Investment Management". However, there are also 287 branch offices that have the same name, "Jason's Investment Management".

Then problem presents itself when I create my view and select the Contact entity and filter on "Company". In the screenshot below, I simply typed "A", and you can see that I have more than 100 records to choose from:

However, this can be accomplished in another way. Instead of choosing to filter on the "Company" field on the Contact entity, first choose the related entity (Account) as displayed in the screenshot:

Next, choose "Account Name" from the list of available fields:

This gives a good bit more flexibility in terms of how you create your filter based on the Parent Account's name.
