Required Security Settings for Copy As Campaign/Copy As Template feature in MSCRM
Scenario: When using the Copy as Campaign or Copy as Template feature from the Actions menu of Campaigns, users receive an error stating "The logged-on user does not have appropriate security rights. Please contact the Sys Admin".
Solution: In addition to the obvious Campaign-related security role permissions (Create, Read, Write, etc), users also need a minimum of Read and Append To permissions on both the Product and Sales Literature entities.
