Hi, I have tried this solution with no result. When you write the the dword should have a value other than zero, what do you mean by that? Could it be any given number or is there a best practice that is recommended to follow?
We're not exactly experiencing the same issue, since im convinced that its not the number of accounts/contacts that is the problem.
Could this be because of a corrupt role?
Sincerely
Lau

Lau,
What is the exact problem you're experiencing? This one is specific to the number of Accounts/Contacts/Leads in the Campaign Activity.
As for using any number exept 0, I typically use 1. 0 disables the registry setting whereas any value greater than 0 allows it to work.
Thanks for the reply.

Hi,
I have an related issue. When I create a Quick Campaign for a marketing list (I am the Owner of the Contacts. And I have SysAdmin priviledge), the activities won't even get into "In progress" state. They remain "Pending" and won't show up on any Activities list.
Any ideas?
Thanks,

Janne,
Thanks for the note. Have you installed Update Rollup 1? (http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=952858) If not, please do so and try again. There were issues with CRM v4 early last year where System Jobs became hung based on an async service issue. Try that and see if you get anywhere.

Ruston,
Async service was indeed down and restarting it and running iisreset did the job. Thanks alot for your reply!
