I was on an unrelated SRS Support request the other day when i found out that there is a cummulative SQL Server 2005 update that addresses this issue. I imagine you will need to inquire with MSFT CRM and/or SRS Support to obtail the Update. It is not a publically released update and has not gone through regression testing, but we have been functioning internally with the update for a week now and it seems to do the trick...

Ruston, thanks for the article. This error bit one of our hosted CRM customers the other evening, and by following your advice we were able to have it working with a simple update of the ReportViewer.exe (later SQL Server updates supersede the requirement for KB954606.

Cheers, Neil
