was this for a customer that had an online deployment outside of the US crm data center?

I also noticed this on a customer's machine (an org on the crm4.dynamics.com server).

Please update this post if you hear more on why.

This is a bug in update rollup 5, so it probably applies to non-us data centers too (like crm4.dynamics.com). They indicated that theis has been resolved in the upcoming update rollup 6. It's not really an issue at the data center, it is an issue with the client.

I just applied this, and it works! I searched all around to find an answer, and this one's it. thank you!

I had the same issue and I resolved by installing Windows Identity Foundation http://www.microsoft.com/pt-br/download/details.aspx?id=17331
