Hi Evan,
Using frame[0] for this will only work some of the time, due to how the navigation in CRM 2013 works if you say click on a lookup on that record, the new record will open in frame[1]. I have written some code on my blog at http://www.magnetismsolutions.com/blog/jaredjohnson/2014/05/14/bookmarklets-to-aid-microsoft-dynamics-crm-2013-development to solve this problem.
